weird...
ok, i had a weird dream last night. it was a hot summer night--one of those nights where you stand outside and listen to the cicadas in a t-shirt and shorts and talk to a neighbor about the doldrums of the day. if i were a smoker, i would have lit up a few.
and i was eating leaves. not like fancy tea leaves from india, but regular leaves from a tree in a mulch bed in my front yard. and not my actual front yard, but my front yard in my dream. i guess i had somehow acquired some property. the leaves didn't taste very good. they were bitter and a little waxy. they left a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that maybe they were going to make me sick. and yet i couldn't stop eating them. they tasted so bad, the guy who lived across the street, who was standing there talking to me, offered to run home and grab a bottle of mouthwash for me. he had a bottle of mouthwash right there in his hands, but it was almost empty and was probably mostly backwash. apparently, he knew of my phobia about drinking after other people. i didn't see him eat any leaves, but he was carrying the bottle of scope, so i can only assume. i awoke with a strong desire to figure out what that meant. are there any dream interpreters out there?

Probably something you ate before you went to bed. Or maybe this phobia of eating/ drinking after people is really getting to you. You may have alittle of the obsessive compulsive characteristic and you are so overwhelmed becauase you left your drink sitting on the table at the restaurant you frequent, you stepped away to say hello to an aquaintance and what did that waitress do? She picked up the glass from the top of the glass and put her face just a little too close to the mouth of the glass for your comfort. That could have created a weird dream. Can't explain the stinky plant breath. Maybe you hae a fear of bad breath - cure breath mints. Just make sure they aren't tic tacs-way too noisy!
back to your phobia, What are you going to do when you get married. Do you understand that there is usually an unspoken sharing responsibility to each other, what is his is mine, what is mine is mine? oops i meant that to say what is mine is his , but you know that. So are you going to keep that distance forever? I mean how can you overcome this fear when you can barely stand to have your own mother drink from the same glass?? hhmm..?? Well this was a bit off the subject so I'll stop now, Love ya big bro! CR
ha! you're a nut :) very well could be... i'll buy some gum.
Wow, beats me what it meant. But at least you had clothes on...that's a good sign.
oh yeah, did i forget to mention... just kidding, i was fully clothed. now THAT would have been weird!
Maybe it's time to trim your trees.

see your email for my interpretation.
Well I'm no dream guy but I've actually been living your dream. Not on the real side but on the spiritual. To me it seems like the leaves are the things of the world, that may once in awhile look good and yet still taste like crap! And even though you know that you just can't seem to get enough or make yourself stop cramming them in your mouth! Then the "man with the mouthwash", in my case that's Jesus just standing there waiting on me to take the cleansing of the blood that is all over His hands! Yet for some unknown reason I find myself right back in the leaves, and because of His love for me, He offers more mouthwash everytime! He never seems to run out of mouthwash! My biggest fear is the day that He does! What then? For if we eat the leaves and stay quiet then the very trees that produce the leaves will open up and praise Him! How can one be so shallow? We see, we believe and yet at the same time are so blind! All I can say is thank you Jesus for the over flowing supply of "mouthwash"!!
wow, you people are deep. from bad seafood to repressed yearning for life to a soliloquy on the story of redemption. who knows what goes on inside our heads?! thanks for sharing everyone.
and layla, thanks for your insight! it was beautiful!
Hurry up and have another dream, would ya?
