pizza & sermon prep

in preparing for an upcoming speaking engagement, it occurred to me that the web is a great resource for notetaking - a blog, specifically. i debated for a moment using backpack, a great online tool that i'll probably graduate to down the road, but for now, i'm most comfortable with the blog.

that said, check out my first carvings at roblog pt. deaux - any input
would be appreciated.
in thinking deeper, what about creating a blogosphere, allowing staff, multiple pastors, etc. to collectively build prepare a message series? think about it: create a new blog title for each series; projects could be assigned, multiple contributors on multiple subjects, invite outside comments from other staffers, etc. i think the possibilities are endless. granted, there will come something down the road that will be better suited for this sort of application, but for now, why not?

maybe in most churches, all this already happens in some sort of staff meeting or something, i don't know... food for thought...

is there something phenomenal out there that i'm missing?

Just happened to stumble onto your site. Great blog! I'm a huge Brennan Manning fan also.
