another year older

in 21 hours (may 20th, 11:52pm), i turn 30. verdict is still out as to whether it will be one of those difficult birthdays or simply a passing from one day to the next. 27 was a rough birthday for me. a transition from the mid-twenty's to the late-twenty's. and that's just one step closer to thirty. they say age is just a number, but youth is a state of mind. we'll see!!

[EDIT 5/21, 1:55am]: by the way, i know of several people over thirty that are still living productive lives. that makes aging slightly less daunting :)

Happy birthday, Rob! God's continued blessings on you. Trust me, it only gets better with age.

An old coot!

30's not so bad...in fact, I'd love to go back to it right now!

At 30, you're still young, but old enough that people at least think you know what you're talking about!

Happy birthday! Make it a good one!

Happy birthday, dude!

30 was my hardest. Mainly because I wasn't doing what I was designed to do...but enough about me.

You're right, youth is a state of mind. Your environment has a lot to do with it. Stay around people younger than you and remember those famous words of Ken Bob the redneck... "Grow old loud!".

Happy Birthday and God bless your new year! 30 is just the beginning of the best part of life (just keep repeating that until you believe it)

Yep! You might as well go ahead and break out the Geritol, Metamucil, Poli-Grip, and the walker! Oh, and don't forget to dial 911 when they light up all those candles! :)
